What you’ll do

Would you like to find out whether HR or recruitment is really right for you while working right in the middle of student life in Utrecht? At ASA Utrecht on the Ganzenmarkt, you will intern in a young, open team where you will play an active role from day one at the employment agency for students and young professionals.

Why this job suits you:

You will have a hands-on internship of 32-40 hours in which you will learn about the entire recruitment process: from writing a vacancy to signing a contract. You will receive intensive guidance, but also have the freedom to take initiative, test ideas and take responsibility. This makes the internship a strong step on your CV if you later want to advance in HR, recruitment, communications or organisational development.

With an internship allowance of € 500 per month (full-time), 8% holiday pay and professional coaching, you will build not only experience but also your network in Utrecht.

Your duties as an ASA Utrecht Intern:

• Candidate sourcing:

  You actively search for students and young professionals, assess their CV and motivation, and see whether their profile matches open vacancies.

• Vacancy management:

  You write clear, appealing vacancy texts, post them online and keep track of which channels generate the best responses.

• Candidate interviews:

  You schedule intake and job interviews, prepare for them and conduct them (together) with employment consultants to make the right match.

• Administration:

  You update files, process contracts and register, among other things, sickness notifications, so that everything is properly recorded for candidates and clients.

• Candidate journey:

  You think along about how contact with candidates and clients can be made even easier, faster and more personal, and turn ideas into concrete actions.

What we ask of you

We are looking for someone who gets energy from working with students and young professionals at our location on Ganzenmarkt in Utrecht, and who enjoys learning in an open, learning environment.

• Availability: You are available 32-40 hours per week for a work placement, preferably for at least five months.
• Living in the region: You live in or near Utrecht, or can easily reach Utrecht city centre.
• Education level: You are an hbo student studying Communication, Business Administration, HRM or Psychology and are enrolled at an educational institution.
• Personal qualities: You communicate easily, work accurately and independently, take initiative, work well in a team and have an excellent command of Dutch.
