Your duties as a DHL Courier in Utrecht:

• Route preparation:

  You report to the depot, load your van efficiently, check your scanner and review your route so that your trip is logical and feasible.

• Package delivery:

  You deliver an average of 50 to 150 packages per day to private individuals and businesses, ensuring a correct signature and proper handover.

• Customer contact:

  You answer questions, think along about delivery options and represent DHL Express with a friendly and helpful attitude.

• Safe driving:

  You drive defensively and follow traffic rules, so you, your van and the packages remain safe, even in busy city traffic.

• Team collaboration:

  At the beginning and end of your shift, you coordinate with colleagues and the planning team, solve bottlenecks together and help out when needed during busy periods.

What we offer you

• Hourly wage: between €15,96 and €20,75 per hour
• Weekly salary payment through ASA Talent
• Flexible working hours: 28 to 40 hours between 08:00-21:00
• Holiday pay: 8,33% plus 10% holiday-hours accrual
• Extras: 50% Saturday premium, pension and travel expense reimbursement

What we ask of you

You are a safe, customer-focused driver who enjoys being on the road and fits well in a close-knit team.

• You have held your category B driving licence for at least 2 years.
• You speak and understand Dutch at a good level.
• You are available 3 to 5 days per week.
• You are reliable, responsible and customer-focused in your work.
• You can apply for a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and drive carefully.
