Health, Safety & Environment Officer - 16-40 hours

As a Health, Safety & Environment Officer, you make our depots, bike hubs (full-time) or refurbished & repairs locations (part-time) safer. You travel a lot, talk to team leaders and depot managers about HSE topics, and develop improvement projects with other HSE Specialists.

What you do

You regularly visit our depots, where you conduct safety rounds. During these rounds, you talk to team leaders and depot managers on site. You support the other officer and the HSE Specialist with safety projects, both on site and from home. You also take on depot-specific checks, contribute ideas on healthy working conditions, and join projects concerning inspections of, for example, tools. You are also responsible for the Risk Inventory & Evaluation. You work closely with the other HSE Officer, the HSE Specialist, your Teamlead and the person responsible for the installation. This way, you ensure that all Coolblue employees can work safely and that Coolblue complies with all safety agreements. You enjoy doing this:

• Visit depots in the Netherlands.
• Discuss HSE topics with team leaders and depot managers.
• Coordinate projects with the other HSE Officer and HSE Specialist.
• Support safety projects, on location or from home.
• Carry out depot-specific checks for new and ongoing projects.
• Work with other HSE Specialists in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.
• Analyze safety questions and turn them into clear solutions. Difference between full-time & part-time: For our Bezorgt department, we are looking for a full-time HSE Officer. Responsible for the depots and bicycle hubs throughout the Netherlands. For our Refurbished & repairs departments, we are looking for a part-time HSE Officer for approximately 20 hours per week. At Refurbished, used products are inspected, cleaned, tested, and repaired where necessary so that they can be sold again. At Repairs, technicians repair products at the customer's home. These locations also need to allow people to work safely and healthily. That's where we need you! The locations for these positions are primarily Rotterdam and Utrecht; in addition, you will sometimes also visit other depots to support the other HSE Officer and HSE Specialist. Since this is a part-time position, you will mainly work on location.

What you can do

• An MBO qualification in Middelbare Veiligheidskunde or an HBO qualification in Hogere Veiligheidskunde or Integrale Veiligheidskunde; diploma required.
• A category B driver's license.
• Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Clear communication skills and strong stakeholder management skills.
• Preferably an electrical engineering background.
