Healthcare Side Job Taste Chef

Are you a real tastemaker who likes to dive into the kitchen once in a while? We are looking for a substitute Taste Chef who happily steps in at our locations in Utrecht when needed.

The position

Do you have a heart for healthcare and do you like to cook with fresh ingredients? As a Side Job Taste Chef at Albron, you contribute to tasty, fresh meals at various healthcare locations in Utrecht. You ensure that residents can enjoy a delicious, fresh meal every day, even when the permanent Taste Chef or employee is away. Whether you are a student, like to cook as a hobby, or already have some experience in the kitchen: you bring taste, fun, and flexibility to every kitchen you visit.

What will you do?

• Flexibly deployable at our healthcare locations in Utrecht;
• Prepare daily hot, fresh meals with attention to quality and taste;
• Involve residents in meal preparation and ensure a homely atmosphere;
• No day is the same: you work at different locations and in varying kitchens;
• You work an average of 4 to 8 hours per week, ideal as a side job next to your studies;
• You are available for 1 day during the week and 1 day during the weekend.

• Enjoying contact with residents and colleagues;
• Before you start as a Taste Chef, we will apply for a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) together at the municipality. You cannot start without a VOG.
• No diploma or chef training required - if you like to cook and want to make residents happy with a fresh meal, we are happy to teach you the rest!

Our menu for you:

• A gross hourly wage between €14.91 and €15.68, depending on your knowledge and experience;
• A 5% allowance per hour worked if you are deployable at multiple locations;
• Average of 4 to 8 hours per week, flexibly scheduled;
• Favorable working hours, usually between 14:00 and 18:00;
• Travel allowance and a surcharge if you work on public holidays;
• Access to the Taste Chef platform for inspiration, personal development, and training in nutrition;
• You are part of the Taste Chef team.
