Do you want to experience what it is really like to work in a student employment agency during your studies or career switch, and have daily contact with students and young professionals? As an intern at ASA Utrecht, you will fully participate in the team at our branch on the Ganzenmarkt, right in the center of Utrecht. You will work together with experienced recruiters, call candidates, write job vacancies, schedule interviews, and help make the right match between candidate and client. No day is the same: one morning you are busy screening new registrations, the afternoon you are scheduled for intakes, and in between you answer questions from students via email, phone, and WhatsApp. You will receive clear guidance, but also space to pick things up yourself and bring in ideas.
What you will do:
- Recruit and select candidates: actively search for students and young professionals and assess their profiles.
- Write and post job vacancy texts online for various side jobs and starter positions.
- Schedule, prepare, and (co-)conduct intake and job interviews with candidates.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as updating files, processing contracts, and registering sick leave.
- Think along with the team about a smooth candidate journey and a great experience for candidates and clients.

- HBO student in Communication, Business Administration, HRM, or Psychology
- Available 40 hours per week for a practical internship (meewerkstage)

- Excellent command of the Dutch language

The ASA office is situated on the Ganzenmarkt in the very heart of Utrecht, making it exceptionally easy to reach by bicycle or public transport from Utrecht Centraal. This central location is perfect for students at Utrecht University or HU University of Applied Sciences. Since this is a demanding 32-40 hour meewerkstage, you must carefully coordinate this commitment with your study supervisors. Note that an excellent command of the Dutch language is a strict requirement for this role.
