About the positionIn this role as a forklift warehouse worker, you are responsible for loading building materials and ensuring that trucks are prepared correctly and safely for transport. You work in the afternoon and evening shift within a team where cooperation and accuracy are central.
Your duties as a forklift warehouse worker consist of:
- Checking incoming loading orders. You coordinate the planning and priorities with the foreman.
- Moving building materials with the forklift to the correct loading locations.
- You load trucks according to the set safety and quality guidelines.
- Checking if all goods are correctly loaded before departure.
- You keep the workplace organized and safe during the shift.
As a forklift warehouse worker, you work from Monday to Friday. The work starts at 15:00 and continues until all transports are ready for departure, which is often around 00:00.
What we offer you
- Gross hourly wage between €15.63 and €19.01, in accordance with scale C of the collective labor agreement (CAO) for Professional Road Transport;
- Direct accrual of reservations, such as holiday hours, holiday pay, and a flex budget;
- Full-time workweek of 40 hours, with shifts from 15:00 to approximately 00:00;
- A response to your application within 24 hours.
Job requirements
- You are available for the shifts from 15:00 to the end of work (often 00:00);
- You live within 30km of Nieuwegein, such as near Utrecht;
- You have a valid forklift certificate;
- You have experience as a forklift driver.
