Help build the future of HR within one of the largest hospitality employers in the Netherlands!

The position:

Are you an experienced Senior HR Business Partner, HR Manager, People Business Partner, or Strategic HR Advisor with experience in a multi-site operation? Do you like working at the intersection of strategy, operations, and organizational development? At Hai, you get the opportunity to make an impact within our Horeca & Leisure division. A dynamic environment with locations throughout the Netherlands, where hospitality, people, and performance come together. In this role, you help managers and teams move forward and continue to build a solid HR foundation. You make HR concrete, workable, and visible. You focus on three themes where you make a real difference: Leadership development, Absence & vitality, and Workforce management & personnel planning.

Your role as Senior HR Business Partner:

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you are the strategic and pragmatic sparring and conversation partner for division and operations management. Your base is De Meern, but you work within a national scope and support locations throughout the Netherlands. You work in a dynamic environment with multiple locations, a lot of movement, and a strong focus on daily operations. As a result, you switch effortlessly between MT meetings, analyses, and presence at locations throughout the country. You ensure that HR choices do not remain on paper, but become visible in leadership, team development, and results. With your approach, you bring structure, rhythm, and sharpness: less noise, better cooperation, and more predictability in the operation.

Where you make an impact:

I. Leadership development: You help managers grow in managing people and performance. You work on: strong leadership in the operation; better conversations about development and performance; ownership within teams; a consistent way of leading across locations.

II. Absence & vitality: You bring grip to sustainable employability. You: analyze absence data and patterns; advise managers on interventions; work together with expert teams; ensure that solutions are practical and executable. Goal: healthy teams that can perform sustainably.

III. Workforce management: You help the organization make better personnel choices. You work on: personnel planning; capacity versus demand; roster optimization; peak and off-peak moments; employability and flow. Always with an eye for the reality of hospitality and the long term.

What will you do?

  • Be a strategic sparring partner for division and operations management;
  • Translate HR strategy into concrete plans that work in the operation;
  • Coach managers on performance, absence, employability, and team development;
  • Guide organizational change;
  • Lead division-wide HR projects;
  • Collaborate with expert teams such as recruitment, learning & development, vitality, and employment conditions;
  • Work with HR data and steering information to improve behavior and results;
  • Guide and strengthen (Junior) HR Business Partners.

What do you bring?

You are analytically strong, organizationally sensitive, and get people moving. In addition, you have:

  • HBO or WO working and thinking level (HRM, Business Administration, or similar);
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor, or similar role;
  • Experience in an operational multi-site environment such as hospitality, leisure, retail, foodservice, healthcare, or services;
  • Experience with organizational development, leadership, absence, and workforce management;
  • Experience with HR data and steering on insights;
  • Driving license B and willingness to visit locations;
  • Availability of 32-38 hours per week;
  • Due to the nature of the work, a good command of the Dutch language is a requirement.

Our menu for you:

  • Gross monthly salary from € 5,500.- (depending on experience);
  • Lease car or mobility budget;
  • Laptop and phone;
