Your workplaceYou will work at La Place Meerkerk, located along the A27. We welcome guests in our meeting rooms, travelers, and guests from the adjacent hotel. The location is easily accessible by public transport: a ten-minute walk from Arkel station and two minutes from the Meerkerk A27 bus stop. There is also parking space for employees. At La Place Meerkerk, you can taste the familiar freshness of La Place: sandwiches, soups, salads, and smoothies, all prepared with pure ingredients. Your roleAs a catering employee at La Place Meerkerk, you are the face of the location. You prepare dishes and drinks and ensure everything looks neat. No day is the same: one day you make a salad or smoothie, the next day you help guests at the cash register or work in the dishwashing area. At La Place, you can try out different tasks, develop yourself, and contribute to the ultimate La Place experience that keeps guests coming back.

As a catering employee, you will:

• Prepare fresh dishes and drinks in the open kitchen;
• Enthusiastically tell guests about La Place products and ingredients;
• Alternate your tasks between the buffet, the cash register, and the dishwashing area;
• Ensure a clean, neat, and well-stocked workplace;
• Actively collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere.

Your ingredientsWe are looking for a catering employee who enjoys contact with people and working with fresh products. You have an eye for detail, are eager to learn, and enjoy learning new things:

• You have an interest in catering or foodservice and, above all, plenty of enthusiasm. Experience is not required; at La Place, we are happy to teach you everything about the trade;
• You speak and understand Dutch well;
• You work neatly and hygienically and remain calm and focused, even when it is busy;
• You know that catering work can be physically demanding, but that does not deter you;
• You are flexibly deployable, including during evenings and weekends;
• You are eager to learn and open to new challenges.
