Your duties as a DHL Courier in Utrecht:
- Route preparation:
You report to the depot, load your van efficiently, check your scanner and review your route, so that your run is logical and feasible.
- Parcel delivery:
You deliver an average of 50 to 150 parcels per day to private individuals and businesses, ensuring a correct signature and a neat handover.
- Customer contact:
You answer questions, think along about delivery options and represent DHL Express with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Safe driving:
You drive defensively and in accordance with traffic rules, so that you, your van and the parcels remain safe, even in busy city traffic.
- Teamwork:
At the beginning and end of your shift, you coordinate with colleagues and the planning team, solve problems together and help out when needed during busy periods.
