Your duties as a DHL Courier in Utrecht:

  • Route preparation:

    You report to the depot, load your van efficiently, check your scanner and review your route, so that your trip is logical and manageable.

  • Package delivery:

    You deliver an average of 50 to 150 packages per day to private individuals and businesses, ensuring a correct signature and proper handover.

  • Customer contact:

    You answer questions, think about delivery options and represent DHL Express with a friendly and helpful attitude.

  • Safe driving:

    You drive defensively and in accordance with traffic rules, so that you, your van and the packages remain safe, even in busy city traffic.

  • Team collaboration:

    At the beginning and end of your shift, you coordinate with colleagues and the planning team, resolve bottlenecks together and help where needed during busy periods.

  • Flexible working hours: 28 to 40 hours between 08:00 and 21:00

What we ask of you

You are a safety-conscious, customer-focused driver who enjoys being on the road and fits well into a close-knit team.

  • You have had your category B driving licence for at least 2 years.
  • You speak and understand Dutch to a good level.
  • You are available 3 to 5 days per week.
  • You are reliable, responsible and customer-focused in your work.
  • You can apply for a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and drive carefully.
