You will be fully involved as an intern at ASA Utrecht and receive a great deal of responsibility, with guidance from experienced employment consultants. This allows you to build your skills in communication, recruitment and selection, and client contact, which is a perfect fit with studies such as communications, business administration, HRM or psychology. You will learn how the labour market for students and young professionals works and gain experience that will directly benefit you later as a recruiter, HR adviser or consultant.

In addition, you will have room to take the initiative, test ideas and develop yourself. With an internship allowance of € 500 per month (full-time), 8% holiday pay and 32-40 hours per week at a lively location, you will lay a strong foundation for your career.

Your duties as an intern at ASA Utrecht:

• Recruitment and selection:

  You actively search for students and young professionals, assess CVs and motivation, and determine who is a good fit for our vacancies, so clients can quickly speak to the right candidates.

• Vacancy management:

  You write clear, attractive job descriptions, publish them online and keep them up to date, so candidates know exactly what a job entails.

• Candidate interviews:

  You schedule intake and job interviews, prepare for them and conduct them together with colleagues, to properly assess what someone can do and is looking for.

• Administration:

  You update files, process contracts and register sickness notifications, so everything is legally and administratively in good order.

• Candidate journey:

  You contribute ideas for a smooth and friendly experience for candidates and clients, for example by email, phone and WhatsApp, so everyone feels heard and helped.

What we ask of you

You are an eager-to-learn HBO student who enjoys taking responsibility and gets energy from daily contact with students and young professionals.

• You are an HBO student studying Communication, Business Administration, HRM or Psychology.
• You are available 32-40 hours per week for a work placement internship.
• You have strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• You are independent, accurate and enjoy working as part of a team.
• You have an excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
