Warehouse Employee at DHL Freight

As a DHL Freight Warehouse Employee, you are responsible for ensuring that the daily logistics processes at the terminal in Houten run smoothly. You work in a dynamic environment where speed and accuracy come together.
As a DHL Freight Warehouse Employee, you ensure that trucks are loaded and unloaded correctly and that shipments reach the right place. You perform physical work, maintain an overview, and contribute to a safe and efficient logistics process.
Your duties include:

• Loading and unloading trucks at the terminal
• Moving and checking shipments internally
• Scanning goods and correctly loading trucks
• Working with colleagues to ensure the process runs smoothly
• Working according to safety and quality guidelines

You work as a DHL Freight Warehouse Employee in a 3-shift system with rotating shifts:

• Morning shift from 07:00 to 15:30
• Afternoon shift from 16:00 to 00:30
• Night shift from 23:00 to 07:30

As a DHL Freight Warehouse Employee, you work in a structured environment with a close-knit team and receive a temporary contract with future prospects.

What we offer you

• An hourly wage starting at €15,61, with allowances of 30% for evening and night shifts and 50% for Saturdays.
• A temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent contract at DHL Freight after 6 months.
• Full-time employment of 40 hours per week in a 3-shift system.
• An intensive onboarding program of 1-2 weeks with a dedicated buddy and daily guidance.

Requirements

• At least MBO level 2 and logistics work experience required.
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system.
• Physically able to lift packages weighing up to 20 kg.
• Valid forklift certificate with at least 2 years' experience.
• Living in the Houten, Nieuwegein, or Utrecht region.
