Warehouse Worker

Do you enjoy physical work and like structure and keeping things organized? As a warehouse employee at this rental company in Mijdrecht, you are the one who makes sure everything runs smoothly. From collecting orders to checking returned items: you take care of it all. You start your day early, work with a down-to-earth and friendly team, and make sure every party can get off to a flawless start. During busy periods, you occasionally work a weekend day, but on weekdays your evenings are usually free. No two days are the same, and that is precisely what makes your work so varied.

This is what your workday looks like as a warehouse employee
You arrive in the morning, grab a cup of coffee and look at the schedule for the day. You start at 07:00 together with your colleagues. You divide up the pick lists, and you take the initiative right away. You begin by collecting materials for a large event later that day: from party tents and chairs to decorations and tableware. Everything must be complete and clean.

In between, returns are brought in. You check whether everything has been returned, make repairs where necessary and set defective equipment aside for maintenance. Meanwhile, you make sure the inventory is accurate and the warehouse stays tidy. You keep a close eye on whether everything is in its place - structure is key.

Later in the day, you help load the trucks. You communicate smoothly with drivers and make sure everything is safely secured. Your day ends with a final check of incoming orders and a tidying-up round. Around 17:30, your work is done, unless you work a little longer that day because of a peak period.

Every day is different, but one thing is certain: you work in an energetic environment, you are always physically active and you directly contribute to the success of parties and events throughout the country.

Duties

• You oversee the picking lists and take the lead.
• You process returns and check that orders are complete.
• You carry out quality checks and identify defects.
• You ensure a tidy and clean warehouse.
• You assist with loading and unloading goods.
• You keep inventory in order and report when something is running out.
• You register defects and initiate actions for repairs.
• You coordinate with colleagues from other departments for a smooth logistics flow.

We are looking for

• You are physically fit and enjoy active work.
• You speak Dutch or English.
• You have a hands-on mentality and think ahead.
• You are available full-time on weekdays between 07:00 and 18:00.
• You are willing to work on Saturdays as standard.
• You work accurately and feel responsible.
• You live in or near Mijdrecht and can get to the location independently.

• A gross hourly wage between €14,80 - €16,50, depending on experience and flexibility.
